"Rounders 3" modified three column template

I've completed work on the Rounders 3 template to transform the original Blogger template into a three column design.

This template also features a complementary label cloud and AddThis buttons at the end of each post for readers to bookmark using their favorite social bookmarking services.

You can see a demonstration of the Rounders 3 three column template here.

To download the Rounders 3 XML template, please use the link below (right click the link and choose "Save As"

Alternatively you can copy the template code below and paste this into the Edit HTML section of your Blogger dashboard (ensure you have checked the "Expand widget templates" box):

Hello Amanda,

First of all, thanks for this new template. I've downloaded it and I'm already using it in my blog. However, I would like to make two changes and I don't know how, so I'm asking you. I'd like to remove the "AddThis" buttons and also to remove the labels below the posts, just like I used to do with the old template, but I just can't figure out how to make it.
Thank you.

Hello Andre,

Removing the AddThis buttons is quite simple: open up your template in Edit HTML mode, and ensure that "Expand widget templates" is ticked. Then search for "AddThis" using your browser's search function (this is usually CTRL+F). You should then find a few lines of code in your template's post section which are clearly commented as "AddThis" code.

<These lines begin and end with comments which look like this line -->

Just delete these lines, and the button will be properly deleted from your template. Be sure to preview your template before saving it to ensure you haven't accidentally deleted any other code!

To remove the labels below your posts, have you tried unchecking the box in the "posts" widget in the layouts section? This would usually prevent the labels from appearing in the post-footer section. If this doesn't work for you, please send me an email.

Hope this helps!
Amanda

Thank you Amanda, this works great!

BTW, do you know if there's a way to put up an image on the top most section, in a panoramic style (as wide as the pc screen)? I uploaded through blogger, but they reduced the size of the picture to about 1/10, no where near what I intended it to be. Thanks again!

Hi Amanda,
I would really love to use this (I currently use the two column version) but my allconsuming blog is still in the old format. Is there anyway I can use it - when I tried it all went squewiffy... for want of a more technical term.
Many thanks,
Kim

Hello Amanda.

First I wish to thank you for this mod.

It´s my current template and it really rocks.

I´m trying to modify the code to accept and return linkbacks without success.

I see lot of blogs allowing linckbaks and same blog posted as linkbacks in forums.

Could you help me a little here?

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, this will not work for my blog, I keep getting an error message. Man, I really wanted to use this, too!

I have a question. I do love the template, but one thing irritates me about it. It doesn't have the quick edit pencil. Is there a way to add that feature to this template. I really miss having this. I tried deleting the Add This buttons, but it still doesn't get me my pencil back.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Amanda,

Two questions: Any way to change the blue background? And any way to change the color of the text in the label cloud?

Thanks so much!

Hi, I really like the template.

However, like Becky above, I can't see the quickedit pencil or the email icon. The link also doesn't appear if I hover. I've checked the settings both in Layout>Page Elements and in Settings>Basic, which are both correct.

Can you help?
